About the Album:
These soundscape experiments were recorded over seven months between September 2020 and April 2021. Performed live to a stereo track with minimal post processing. The goal was to become more comfortable playing live for potential future public performances.

About the Cover:
The cover image is of a device called a "Sounding Machine" that was used by mariners to measure the depth of the ocean. The design of this machine was patented by Edward Massey in 1802. The device was attached to a line and as it sank to the seabed, a rotating vane drove a counter with a wormscrew; its revolutions were converted to the depth in fathoms. One fathom is equal to 6 feet.
